The pathway to purpose
Oh, what a journey there.
Both mountains and valleys
Lead to a life beyond compare.
The pain of the past,
The joy of today,
All will be the scenery
We pass along the way.
But if we forget our goal,
The days meld into years.
Life feels out of sync,
And within us rises fears.
Where am I going?
The heart yearning set within us,
The unexplicable melancholy
The aloneness seems to bring us.
But our angst is broken
When along the way
We hold onto His promises
And let all come what may.
For we know that though
He’s the master of the universe,
He’s the comforter within our soul
With whom we can converse.
Then we see the Sacred Romance
Reserved for each soul,
For He has come to guide us
And make us strong and whole.
So let’s set out on each day
Knowing He travels with us.
As we invest in our daily roles,
We know He will bless us.
It’s on this pathway to purpose
Where we find life’s meaning
Hopelessness is vanquished
We know His love redeeming.
