Where Do I Belong?

Most of my life I spent searching for an identity, somewhere to belong or someone to belong to. The hard road I traveled brought me much pain or only temporary satisfaction. It was only a downward spiral until I found , or shall I say until He found me. I was hopeless, but He didn't think so. Finally, there was someone to believe in me and love me like no other. The poor choices I made and the hopelessness I felt for so long have been replaced with a longing to become like THE ONE who rescued me. JESUS IS THE ONE I BELONG TO !

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light.  1 Peter 2:9 NIV
